An Iconic Look Meets Power
The legendary Charger is back and better than ever! This iconic muscle car has always been known for its incredible performance. Now, it adds another impressive feature to its resume - it's the first and only AWD electric muscle car on the market.
Patriot Dodge Tulsa has already started receiving coupe models of this revolutionary vehicle. The four-door sedan will be available soon. We have a lot to unpack here, so buckle up for an exciting ride through the 2025 Charger.
Our Research Hub is also available if you want to determine whether an EV like this is right for you.
The performance specs of this new edition are incredible. Let's start with the basics. All models come standard with AWD, which gives you superior handling and traction. The standard front and rear suspension provides exceptional balance and responsiveness on the road.
The 2025 Charger offers multiple drive modes to suit your style. Track and Drag modes unleash maximum performance. For day-to-day driving, you can select Auto, Eco, Sport, or Wet/Snow modes to optimize your experience.
So what can this bad boy do on the road? You have two powerful options. The Daytona Scat Pack is the fastest of all, with 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. This beast rockets from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The Daytona R/T delivers 497 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, allowing you to sprint from 0-60 in 4.7 seconds.
For those who prefer traditional engines, Dodge will also offer a gas model called the SIXPACK. See the trim levels below for more information on these gas-powered options.
Let's take a closer look under the hood to see what powers these machines. Motivation comes from a high-voltage lithium-ion battery that delivers 550 kW for instant torque. You get maximum power the moment you press the accelerator. The Daytona Scat Pack will give you slightly less range because of its higher power output. Still, it can go 260 miles on a single charge. The Daytona R/T has an even more impressive range of 317 miles, allowing for longer journeys without worry.
Your actual range will vary depending on how you drive and use the various race options. Launch Control optimizes power delivery for maximum acceleration from a standstill but uses more battery power. Other race modes like Drift/Donut modes, Line Lock, and Race Prep offer thrilling experiences at the cost of some battery life.
Regardless, you'll never have trouble charging your vehicle. The 2025 Charger Daytona models are compatible with all three charging levels. Plus, the Charger is equipped with regenerative braking to help prolong battery life by recovering energy when slowing down.
The fastest muscle car in the world deserves a race-car-inspired interior to match. The linework and texture are evocative of the iconic 1968 Dodge Charger, honoring its heritage while embracing modern comfort.
Comfort takes center stage with heated and ventilated front seats. The material for the seats is customizable. Choose between leatherette and suede with black or red seat inserts. Nappa leather seats are optional but give the interior an even more luxurious feel. You'll also find Daytona or Charger-specific badging, depending on which powertrain you choose.
The steering wheel features paddle shifters and integrated buttons for easy control. Its TechnoLeather surface provides excellent grip. Another exciting change is the return of the Pistol Grip shifter, a beloved feature that adds to the authentic muscle car experience. This new Charger also offers best-in-class cargo volume of 38.5 cubic feet.
The iconic Charger exterior didn't go anywhere. This new model maintains a muscular, aggressive stance that turns heads wherever it goes. The 2025 model features a standard widebody design inspired by the '68, with broad shoulders and a commanding presence. One striking feature is the red "ring of fire" LED rear tail lamps that create a distinctive signature look.
The color scheme gives you eight exciting options this year. You can match these colors with either a Black Steel Roof or the Panoramic Glass Roof. The body colors include Redeye, Peel Out Orange, Destroyer Gray, and Bludicrous. The wheels go up to 20 inches in size, with different styles to choose from.
Technology is the main selling point of the new 2025 Dodge Charger. It introduces never-before-seen features like the first-ever Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust. This innovative system imitates the sound of a gas-powered engine even though you run on electricity, giving you that authentic muscle car growl.
The available Uconnect 5 system offers a large 12.3-inch touchscreen that can be controlled with wireless smartphone integration. Amazon Alexa integration comes standard, along with available features like a head-up display and wireless charging. The Dodge Digital Key includes an NFC smart card for phone-less adventures.
The electric powertrain brings new tech like the dedicated EV Pages, which provide detailed information about your vehicle's energy usage and charging status. Available upgrades include a nine-speaker Alpine sound system with 18 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer.
As always, Dodge equips drivers with all the features they need to be safe on the road. The 2025 Charger includes an impressive array of safety technologies. The Active Driving Assist System lets the car handle driving assist for you by monitoring the road ahead and keeping the car in its lane. It can also brake and accelerate for you, making long drives less tiring.
Traffic Sign Recognition displays what it reads on the heads-up display, keeping you informed of speed limits without taking your eyes off the road. The ParkSense with Camera offers front and top-down views of the vehicle when it's in Drive, making parking much easier.
Side Distance Warning rounds out the safety package, alerting you when objects are too close to the sides of your vehicle.
The entry-level R/T model delivers muscle car thrills with cutting-edge technology. While Dodge proudly maintains the Charger's muscle car heritage, this electric evolution packs more high-tech features than its predecessors. The R/T comes standard with 18-inch wheels, LED headlights and fog lights for superior visibility, and convenient rain-sensing wipers. Comfort and convenience abound with keyless entry and start, cloth seats enhanced with synthetic leather trim, practical fold-flat rear seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The R/T's electric motors use standard four-wheel drive trains to produce a combined 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade that output by 40 horsepower with an optional PowerShot feature. This particular model also comes with a trim-exclusive Blacktop Package, which includes black 20-inch wheels and dark exterior badging.
The Dodge Charger Scat Pack outperforms in, well, performance. Clocking in a 3.3-second 0-60 time and an 11.5-second quarter-mile race time, it offers a whopping 185 more horsepower than the previous Charger Scat Pack. Meanwhile, where the newest R/T has already-decent
standard Auto, Sport, Eco and Wet/Snow capabilities, the Scat Pack has Track and Drag modes for optimal dragstrip launch and straight-line acceleration on both smooth and dry surfaces.
The Scat Pack's aggressive capabilities are supported by performance-oriented hardware including sport suspension tuning, larger 20-inch wheels, and high-performance Brembo brakes front and rear. Inside, the technology takes a step up with an expansive 16-inch digital instrument panel and a practical head-up display that projects crucial driving information directly onto the windshield, keeping your eyes where they belong – on the road ahead, or perhaps the quickly disappearing competition behind you.
The Dodge Charger Daytona catalog currently comprises four-wheel drive R/T and Scat Pack coupes. Four-door electric models are set to begin production in 2025. These new 2025 Dodge Charger releases are a big part of Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to cut its global carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and reach net carbon zero by 2038. A new 400V propulsion system powers all Daytonas.
Gas powered 2025 Dodge Charger vehicles are made in R/T, Scat Pack, and potentially GT trims. Across these levels, shoppers can choose between SIXPACK single-output and SIXPACK high-output systems. All have standard all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission and are available with either two doors or four doors.
Otherwise, you can expect many of the outstanding features seen in other 2024 and 2025 Chargers – including premium sound audio systems, digital displays and adjustable ambient lighting – plus special sport suspension tuning, 20-inch wheels, and Brembo front and rear brakes.
The legacy of the Charger continues in an exciting new direction with the 2025 Charger. This revolutionary vehicle combines muscle car heritage with EV tech for a unique driving experience.
